Dear Friends of High Mountain Sports,

Deep Creek Lake is back up to 2455.43 up from the low of 2454 foot elevation.

The Wisp Resort opens tomorrow, Saturday, December 1. We had a low of 21 degrees last night. Snowmaking has been going on for a while when it has been cold. It looks like a couple of trails will be open with more coming online as they blow more snow.

The Wisp has been updating the snowmaking towers on Squirrel Cage this fall. Some of the older towers have been replaced with the new state of the art Polecats. Sources tell me these are capable of producing 10 times more snow than the older towers. These new blowers also turn as they make snow fanning it out up and down the slopes thus reducing the snowcat time to push the large snow piles.

The view this morning at 10:45 AM.

Shown to the left is HMS Employee Eric Crawford getting some rainbow sliding in earlier this November. Crawford spent some years riding at Mammoth before his move back east.

Just in limited edition Electric Goggles.

We have nice Holiday cards and card holders for the High Mountain Sports Gift Cards.

This weekend only we are offering a Email Buzz Special on Zapz. Zapz are a microwavable custom footbed that is super comfy and quick. Normally $59.99 but this weekend mention the Buzz and get them for $49.99.

HMS Employee Eric Crawford is sic!

Thanks for your support,

Steve
